The Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District will empower staff
and students to meet the challenges of the future through the transformational
uses of technology. Our focus is the improvement of teaching and learning in collaboration
with the home and community.
The essential question in Ed Tech is: How can technology
be used as a tool to improve student learning, and not as an end
in itself?
The Fairfield-Suisun Educational Technology Committee was originally
formed in 1995. Certificated site facilitators
are called Technology Learning Coordinators (TLCs).

The Two Tech Surveys. Remember that EdTechProfile has replaced the CTAP2 Survey:
In September of 1996, the Educational Technology Committee produced
its first Technology Plan for the school district. During the 2000-01
year the District contracted with Educational Technology Planners
to conduct a Technology Audit. The final Report was presented to
the Governing Board on May 17, 2001. We then produced an Interim
Tech Plan that carried us through the 2002-03 school year.
Our first five-year plan was approved
by the State in Spring 2003 and covered through June 30, 2007.
We decided to move to a three year format since technology was evolving rapidly. We wrote a three-year plan that covered the period July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2010.
This is an AR widget. It operates in real time, A variety of widgets are available. The widget below is for the entire district. Every school can have its own, and it can easily be posted on your website.
